The new update of data by health departments and municipalities provided by the Ministry of Health shows a slight increase in the accumulated incidence of the virus in the Marina Alta.
Specifically, in recent days, the Dénia Health Department has registered 14 new positive cases, which amounts to 9.841 the total number of infections recorded in the region since the start of the pandemic. Of this total, 47 cases are still active at the moment, which causes a rise in incidence, which stands at 27,37 positive cases per 100.000 inhabitants. A figure that exceeds the level of low risk of contagion stipulated in 25 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
The positive part of this update is that no deaths have been registered in the region since the last day, so the total number of deaths remains at 201.
Regarding Xàbia, of the 14 new registered infections, it adds up to 4, which brings the total number of cases to 1.454, of which there are still active 14. In this way, the accumulated incidence increases considerably, standing at 50,72 infections, the low risk double established as the new normal.
