The construction of the new Puente de Triana will start on the second half of September. He Javea Town Hall has already signed the contract with the company Levantina Ingeniería y Construcción, which has been awarded the construction of the new bridge for an amount of 400.000 euros.
Once the administrative procedure has been completed (which has required several permits and administrations such as the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation and the General Directorate of Coasts) and the contracting process, the bridge finally faces its execution phase, which is estimated to have a duration of 12 weeks.
To avoid problems during the summer, the City Council has agreed with the winning company that the works begin the second half of September. They have also asked the company to take advantage of these two months to advance in the management of materials and the prefabrication of the concrete structure that will later be built on the river.
