This is how the fire in the Ramblars area is burning

November 23 from 2021 - 16: 21

The smoke from the fire originated in the Xàbia green waste transfer plant spreads throughout the municipality and its surroundings. Since the flames started early Sunday morning, the column of smoke covers a large part of the Xàbia sky. The large amounts of plant debris that were in the plant make it difficult to extinguish the fire quickly, a fact that has caused the generation of smoke for two days.

The heavy rain these days has helped to put out the great fire but not to put it out completely. If we go back, specifically, to 2016, the fire that occurred then took about a month to completely shut down.

During these two days, the smell has burned is noticeable in several places in Xàbia and even in rural areas of neighboring towns such as Gata de Gorgos, Jesús Pobre or El Poble Nou de Benitatxell since the wind conditions have caused the smoke to reach these municipalities.

... Yesterday, SINCE THEY WERE IN THE AREA, they could have taken advantage of the helicopters to go through RAMBLARS ...

  3. Maria says:

As of today ... we continue to swallow the toxic fumes that it gives off and nobody ... I repeat, nobody is solving it ... it's incredible 11 days later ... I am outraged

  4. Mighty Mouse says:

I'm asthmatic, i cannot go out without fear of collapsing breathless. The smoke creeps into my home, what do I do ?, open a window?

Typical local government, doing as little as possible but as long as they get paid every month, so what!

  5. Werner Fradrich says:

    Typisch Spananien alles verbrennen

    • Ignacio says:

It is a pity that since he knows so much what "typical Spanish" is, he cannot write it in Spanish. It would be very useful especially to enforce your rights in the country you have chosen to live in.

and THOSE AND THOSE WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ALMENS OF THE BELL, WILL SAY SOMETHING NOW ABOUT THIS PRECIOUSNESS THAT DAMAGES THE EYE.

  7. Chulvi We Love You says:

I think this is the culmination of Chulvism: a carcinogenic cloud of burned garbage, serving as a retentive atmospheric layer for the effluvia of residual debris (see SHIT) that come from saturated sewers that overflow by the river and the beaches. Any day from here mutants face-hoodie-jacket squeeze from the depths of some bar and we have the succession to the mayor's office assured.

  8. Anna, super fan says:

    Bravo Chulvi!!!
Waiting for the photo of you turning off with a blanket, or something, I'm waiting!

    • Belén, also a big fan says:

Perhaps, taking off his jacket and poking hard at the fire ...
Although, on second thought, you will have to change your brown shoes for some water boots, you have to find a size and let's go! to the Fire! That sure gives votes, right?
      Courage Chulvio, everything is getting!
In addition, you can use the boots to later go to collect shit in the river, or on the beach, or in the mountains.
      Greetings figure!

  9. Maria says:

I'm afraid this is intentional because the exact same thing happened a few years ago. a disaster for people with respiratory problems. irresponsible .. Is there no other solution?

    • Luis says:

It happens every x time because that is their way of doing it. How do you think they transform garbage? Do you see some ships with all the necessary infrastructure to do it? No, there is no sorting and recycling plant depending on the material, plastic, organic etc. Look at the photos all accumulated in piles of garbage that from time to time they burn to reduce it and make more room.

  10. Ignacio says:

If it is green waste, why does the smoke smell like burned garbage? And why in those images what can be seen are mountains of accumulated garbage?
