Under the title songs of love, the choral group ARS NOVA offers on Saturday, November 5, its autumn concert in Xàbia. The performance will be at 21:00 p.m. in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto in Xàbia.
The choir will offer a set of works that have love as a common thread, presented in various manifestations such as filial love, romantic love or even devotion or patriotism. The direction of the concert will be in charge of the teacher of the group, Rubén Penadés and will include the participation of the pianist, Sílvia Ferrer and the String Quintet of the Marinae Ensemble group.
The repertoire includes relevant composers in the choral world such as Dan Forrest, Morten Lauridsen, David Azurza, Eric Whitacre and Josu Elberdin, other great masters of composition such as Edward Elgar, Gabriel Fauré and Mauel Oltra, and also includes newly created works such as My child (2021) by Lorenzo Pérez. We will be able to listen to a great heterogeneity of sonorities, of the different compositional styles, even the diversity of languages they use.
