The municipal water company of Xàbia, Amjasa, has approved today in its board of directors to put out to tender a new renovation work of the distribution network in the southern part of the municipality.
This is an improvement project in the area of Ambolo and Balcón al Mar budgeted at 128.383 euros and which has been included in the 2020 works plan after obtaining the relevant permit from the Alicante Provincial Council, since the work is affected in a road managed by the Provincial Entity.
Award of other works
Today's council has also validated the award of three other works: the renewal of the network in Moixeta and La Guardia highway to Manuel Francisco Terres Belmonte for 77.685 euros; the renewal of the La Guardia road network to the Works and Projects Category for 89.222 euros and the renewal in Carrasquetes-Castellans to Santacreu SL for 59.917 euros.
In total, as explained by the municipal company, it is expected that at the end of the year a total of 12 kilometers of pipelines will have been renewed (as of today there are already 10 executed), which in 2020 will reach 2% of the total the network and with this the objective set within the annual plan is met to offer the best service to its subscribers and increase performance and energy efficiency.
