Amjasa, the municipal water company of Jávea, has commemorated the world water day. To this end, it has celebrated a day dedicated to the dissemination of the desalination process that takes place in the Sènia Vella desalination plant.
Around 40 high school students of the IES Antoni Llidó have visited the plant to know all the facilities. You have also been able to observe how you work in this "factory" of fresh water whose supplier is the sea. Within the visit they participated in a water tasting in which they had to differentiate the water manufactured in the municipal plant from other bottled ones.
Coinciding with World Water Day, Amjasa presented the new information leaflet on the desalination plant. In the guide the entire process of production of drinking water accompanied by graphic material, from capture at sea until it reaches the taps in our homes is explained.
