During the early hours of Saturday, the Provincial Consortium of Alicante Firefighters received an emergency call at 02:02. A 45-year-old motorist had suffered a traffic accident on the CV 747 road in Xàbia and had been trapped in the bushes on the embankment, with leg injuries.
The firefighters, with the help of the Civil Guard and the Local Police, managed to free the motorist from the brush and immobilized him on a stretcher to be able to remove him from the scene of the accident. The health services later evacuated him to the Dénia hospital to receive medical treatment.
The intervention of the firefighters ended at 05:20 in the morning. For this intervention, 1 BUP (Heavy Urban Bomb), 1 FSV (Various Salvage Van), 1 sergeant, 1 corporal and 4 firefighters from the Dénia park were used. Fortunately, the rapid response of the emergency services allowed the motorcyclist to be successfully rescued.
