From this Wednesday, October 28, applications can now be submitted to obtain aid for the self-employed and SMEs promoted by the Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell with the aim of minimizing the economic impact of COVID-19.
There are two lines of aid, one financed with 125.000 euros by the Consistory and another of 25.643 euros subsidized by the Alicante Provincial Council. Entrepreneurs have the possibility to benefit from both. Applications for aid from the City Council may be submitted by registration of entry in the Office of Citizen (C / Escoles, 2) or by electronic office until November 17, while for the Provincial Council the last day is November 12.
The aid is intended for those businesses that have closed their doors during the months of March, April and May or that have seen their turnover reduced by 50% during the state of alarm. Regarding the aid of the Consistory, the endowment starts from a minimum of 300 euros in the case of the reduction of billing and a minimum of 600 euros in the case of closure. The amount is increasing to a maximum of 1.175 euros depending on requirements such as the number of workers, whether they have taken advantage of ERTEs or have kept their jobs, or if they have rents or mortgages.
The aid of the Provincial Council is of a fixed amount of 600 euros. These benefits are expected to be paid before December 31, 2020. All the documentation (bases of the calls and application forms) can be downloaded from the web www.elpoblenoudebenitatxell.com.
