Open the call for employment for 1000 beach assistants

The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has advanced that Works publishes this Wednesday the call of the Valencian Agency for Security and Emergency Response for the hiring of 1.000 young people between the ages of 18 and 30 as beach assistants who will be in charge of offering information on protection regulations to guarantee access to the coast of the Valencian Community with total security. Applications must be submitted through the Labora website, GVAJobs, and there will be a deadline for this until next Friday, June 12, at 14.00:XNUMX p.m.

This was explained by the president after a working meeting held at the Palau de la Generalitat with the Minister of Justice, Interior and Public Administration, Gabriela Bravo; the autonomous secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer, and the director of the Valencian Agency for Safety and Emergency Response, José María Ángel.

The President stressed that the Generalitat intends with this initiative that the young people hired are the "best face" of safe beaches for the enjoyment of citizens. They will also be a support for the municipalities in their work to ensure compliance with the protection regulations.

The call is aimed at young people from 18 to 30 years old who have a type B driving license and ESO, as the president has specified.

Young men and women who are already in Labora as job seekers will simply have to register for this offer through the GVAJobs website. Those who are not registered in Labora must first register as jobseekers through the website and then sign up for this offer.

The and the 1.000 auxiliaries will be distributed along the beaches of the municipalities of the three provinces, so that Alicante will have 418, Castellón will have 234 and Valencia will have 348.

Labora will pre-screen 1.250 young people. The 1.000 applicants who have been unemployed the longest and, in the event of a tie, the oldest, will be selected. The rest will remain as a reserve for possible cancellations or resignations.

The requirements that those interested must meet are the following: be under 30 years of age, possess the title of Compulsory Secondary Education and a type B driving license and have Spanish nationality or some other nationality that, in accordance with the provisions of article 54 of Law 10/2010, of July 9, of the Generalitat, of Organization and Management of the Valencian Public Function, allows access to public employment.

The duration of the contract will be from June 24 to September 7. The level and salary will be that of the interim civil servant in Group C2 and classification 12 E015.

With mobility within the provincial geographical area, these young people will be in charge of ensuring compliance with social distancing measures both in the dry zone and in the accesses, carrying out communication and information tasks related to the Safe Beaches Guide and collaborating in the control of access capacity of beaches.

Other functions that will be entrusted to them will be to ensure the correct use of the itineraries marked for entering and leaving the dry area, collaborate with the managing entities in ordering and planning an adequate enjoyment of the bathroom or notify incidents to the Police. Local through the communications that will be delivered to them.

In the event of an Emergency, they will contact 112 and report daily, and also when required, on the degree of occupation and incidents on the beach assigned to them.

Publication of three offers

Three offers will be published, one for each province, and the term, open from this Wednesday, June 10, will end at 14.00:12 p.m. on Friday, June XNUMX.

Interested persons can apply only to one offer, so if they submit to more than one offer, the system will take into account only the first registration.

To apply for the contract, the interested person needs to be previously registered with Labora as a job seeker and have the required qualification and driving license B accredited at Labora. It is not necessary to have applied for any specific occupation or to have previous experience in said occupation.

Among all the people who have applied as candidates, the computer system will carry out a pre-selection of 1.250 people, and will first of all order the people who have been unemployed the longest (adding up all the periods) and, in the event of a tie , will select the oldest person with the limit of the requirement of 30 years.

The 1.250 shortlisted people will receive an email at the end of the application submission period, which will provide a link for the electronic process where they must provide supporting documentation of the requirements: copy of the DNI / NIE (both sides), copy of the academic degree and copy of the driver's license B.

This documentation submission process must be completed before Monday, June 15 at 23.59:XNUMX p.m. To identify themselves in this process and present the required documentation, the shortlisted persons will use the PIN code (AutoServef).

The Valencian Agency for Security and Responses to Emergencies will check the documentation provided by the 1.250 shortlisted people and will make the appointment of 1.000 people as interim civil servants of group C2, according to the order of the lists of longest to shortest periods of unemployment. The rest of the candidates will remain as a reserve for possible losses and / or resignations.
