Since the last update, the Valencian Community has registered 463 new coronavirus infections confirmed by PCR test, which put the total number of positives at 25.491 people. By provinces, the distribution is as follows: 38 in Castellón, 165 in the province of Alicante and 259 in the province of Valencia. Additionally, there are still 5 unassigned cases.
Currently, the accumulated incidence rate in the Valencian Community in the last 14 days stands at 127,68 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, while the average in Spain is 211,84 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
On the other hand, 593 patients with coronavirus have been discharged, so the total number of people cured since the start of the pandemic stands at 26.770. Valencian hospitals currently have 382 people admitted, 41 in the ICU. Thus, there are currently 5.866 active cases, which represents 17,18% of all positive cases.
On the other hand, there has been 1 death from coronavirus, so the total number of deaths amounts to 1.518 people. The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 842.303, of which 697.756 have been through PCR and 142.547 through rapid test.
Residences
Currently there are some positive cases in 40 nursing homes for the elderly (3 in the province of Castellón, 18 in the province of Alicante and 20 in the province of Valencia), 6 residences for people with functional diversity (1 in the province of Alicante, 2 in the province of Castellón and 3 in the province of Valencia) and 2 centers for minors (1 in the province of Castellón and 1 in the province of Valencia).
