The municipal department of Sports of Xàbia has started this week the new season of them Municipal Sports Schools. It is the most important program for the promotion of grassroots sports, as well as the new proposals that are released this year: the specific inclusive sports school for people with functional diversity, Exceeded and the project In Moviment, designed for people of adulthood who want to improve their physical form.
Councilman sports, Alberto Tur, has indicated that this year a total of 300 girls and boys have enrolled in relation to the Escoles Esportives, which is a great reception of a program more than consolidated in the municipality. Before starting the training sessions, from Sports, a series of previous informative meetings with parents was scheduled to inform them directly of schedules, protocols and the season's programming.
Tur points out that this year several improvements have been made in the sports halls of the Palau d'Esports, especially in the one that houses psychomotor skills, which is now more equipped as a children's space.
As for the activities aimed at adults, the total enrollment has been 70 people, a figure that, as the mayor points out, is exciting as it is a new project aimed at the adult public that is more difficult to mobilize.

In the case of Exceeded, There are three people signed up "but the registration will remain open for the moment, since a few days have been left for secondary schools and those specifically for special education, to inform their users of this new resource available in Xàbia", has indicated Tur. Although classes have started this week, the doors will remain open to the incorporation of new users.
The municipal head of Sports has shown his satisfaction with the reception of these programs and has encouraged the entire population to find a way to stay active and take advantage of the many options that exist in Xàbia to practice physical activity, through the municipal offer or of the wide and varied range offered by the clubs.
