Around 300 children and primary school students, from 20 centers in the Marina Alta district, including the six primary schools of Xàbia, have exhibited, in the Polyvalent Room of the Portal del Clot de Xàbia, their project of Ecoescoles.

They are the agroecological education projects with which the students are working throughout the course, such as nurseries, school gardens or healthy eating.

As explained by the project coordinator, José Manuel Bisetto, "It is an innovative and educational project with ecological school gardens, so that food in school canteens is ecological and healthy".

Bisetto has indicated that the classes with the children also deal with questions about seasonal plants and those of local variety, insects, "as well as animals and bugs to be able to treat them in a natural way. It is definitely an environmental project that works with the participation of all the schools of Xàbia and other coming from the Marina Alta of ages between 3 and 11 years."

The council of Education of Xàbia, Montse Villaverde, he has welcomed and congratulated them on the quality of the projects, "Since acquiring good habits is essential to lead a healthy life and respect the environment."
