Xàbia will celebrate this Sunday the 'XVI Bicycle Day'

This Sunday, the Jávea Cycling Club, in collaboration with the Mobility Department of the City of Xàbia, organizes the XVI Day of the Bicycle. An activity framed within the week of European mobility that seeks to promote the use of sustainable means of transport at the same time as promoting family sports.

To participate in this cycling tour, the use of a helmet is mandatory, as explained by the mayor of Mobility, José Luis Luengo. The cycling caravan will leave at 10 am from the track of the Graüll school. You will cross the avenues of Palmela, Furs, Primer Montañar, Arenal (until the roundabout of La Caixa-WOK), walk Cabanes and Cansalades until you reach the Pinosol park.

Giveaway of many gifts

Once this venue is reached, participants will have time to regain strength with refreshments and a lunch offered by the organization. The activity will conclude with the usual raffle, where there will be many gifts, among them, the most anticipated, a magnificent bicycle.

The return to the town will be made by different roads to the place of departure and both on the way to the return, cyclists will have the support of a Local Police vehicle that will be responsible for regulating traffic.
