A Valencian company will rebuild the Triana Bridge
Vilor SL will be the company in charge of carrying out the reconstruction works of the Triana Bridge (mouth of the Gorgos River). This has been decided by the City of Xàbia after awarding the work to this entity for 487.381 euros, 90.000 euros less, according to the budget for which the bidding of the work, 567.382 euros.
In total, three companies had submitted to the tender for works. Vilor SL has offered an improvement in the initial project: the lighting of the railings of the bridge over the river and its adaptation for people with reduced mobility.
As noted by the City Projects Councilor, "We offer all the confidence and the execution period will be 12 weeks from the day of signature. The Triana Bridge is a priority. "
The new winner will tear down the current bridge and create a new one, with one eye. Note that at present, this section of the First Mountain is closed to traffic for safety since last September. The bridge should have already been rehabilitated, but the company that was responsible for the work failed to comply with the contract and the City Council had to tender again.
