A resident of Xàbia loses his life on a beach in Valencia
A young resident of Xàbia, about 40 years old, lost his life on a beach in Valencia two days ago. The event occurred around 16:30 p.m. on the afternoon of this past Tuesday on the beach of El Saler. As reported by the CICU (Emergency Information and Coordination Center), the man drowned in the middle of a rainstorm.
Apparently, the young man, of Pakistani origin, but resident in Xàbia for about 30 years, was with some friends and for unknown reasons he entered the sea in an episode of heavy rain and could no longer get out.
The alert to the CICU came from an attempt to remove a person from the water. A SAMU unit and another SVB unit traveled to the place, whose basic life support health team performed basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the rescued man. Once at the scene, the SAMU medical team continued with advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other stabilization techniques, but there was no response, the forty-year-old man had died.
This resident of Xàbia, Raja YC, was known for running an international supermarket located on Avenida del Plà and a typical Pakistani and Turkish fast food restaurant on the Arenal beach. In addition, his family was one of the first to open a Pakistani business in Xàbia. Raja arrived in the town of Xabiera when he was barely 12 years old and here he raised his family.
