Tomás Sivera takes the third prize for 'Sculptures facing the sea' from Marina Dénia

A new award for the artist from Xàbia, Tomás Sivera. On this occasion, Sivera has obtained the third prize, endowed with 500 euros, in the III edition of 'Sculptures in front of the sea' organized by Marina Dénia with her work 'The eyes of the sea'.

This exhibition, which has been open all summer, can continue to be seen until next October 11 at the Ribera Pier of the Marina Dénia Marina and Tourist Port. The jury also awarded the first prize (1.500 euros) to Pedro Quesada and his sculpture 'Girl on the beach' and the second, with 1.000 euros, to Kike Gordillo with the work 'Ithaca'.

The Department of Culture of the City Council of Dénia and Marina Dénia also delivered three honorable mentions for the works of Julio Palacios, Amparo Mata and Juan Caravaca.

The director of Marina Dénia, Gabriel Martínez, stressed that “the show has been widely publicized, both nationally and internationally. We are in the prelude to an exhibition of works that is going to reach relevant dimensions, not only for our region, but that is going to transcend beyond ".
