Salut Public organizes a conference in Xàbia to fight the tiger mosquito

The county Department of Public Health has scheduled for Thursday March 10 a day to plan municipal actions against the tiger mosquito.

The Councilor for Health, Pilar Zamora, explained that in this course aimed at municipal technicians involved in vector control, it will be announced how to identify this species. Also, their life habits and prevention methods, as well as municipal action measures and public health.

The conference, which will begin at 9 in the morning and will take place in the assembly hall of the Soler Blasco Museum, will include the participation of personnel from the Entomology and Pest Control Laboratory of the University of Valencia, as well as a Health pharmacist Public and medical personnel.
