We can propose to Chulvi several security measures in the waste plant of Ramblars

"The Ramblars waste plant needs urgent action so that what happened two years ago does not happen again; a fire, difficult to extinguish, due to the large amount of waste"With these statements, the Círculo Podemos Xàbia proposed, in a meeting with the mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, several security measures to prevent a fire.

Members of Podemos said they had met with the Firemen to know what solution could be in this landfill "in which there are mountains of 4 or 5 height meters of waste". One of the proposals put forward by the Fire Department is that in some 25 or 50 meters around it is clean, as well as fence the entire waste plant.

Podemos spokesman, José Vicente Catalá, indicated that the option of acquiring a crushing machine had also been transferred to Chulvi. "as it is already had in other municipalities of the province where the service of crushing the agricultural remains before the impediment of burning in summer and thus reducing fires is made available to citizens."

The service of installing video surveillance cameras 24 hours and that are connected to the Local Police is another of the measures proposed by Podemos Xàbia in search of a solution to the situation in which the dump of Ramblars is located.

From Podemos have indicated that the mayor has been receptive to listening to the proposals "and has said to study all the options".
