We can regret that Chulvi has not implemented the proposed prevention measures in Ramblars
Nine days after a fire started in the Ramblars green waste area and that it is still active, Podemos criticizes the lack of interest of the government team to seek a solution and prevent this type of event.
A little over three years ago, after the fire that occurred in Ramblars in 2016, We can moved the mayor, José Chulvi, several proposals to prevent a fire from reoccurring in the future.
These proposals came after the interview of the spokesperson for Podemos Jávea, Bernhard Feiner, with the Chief of the Dénia firefighters, Javier Fayos. Among "the simple actions" as stated by Podemos, were to fence the enclosure and clean the perimeter from outside, install more fire hydrants at various points, video surveillance cameras and temperature probes.
From the purple formation they also indicated that to avoid the oversaturation of the waste plants it was proposed to install shredders for individuals and farmers and thus remedy the accumulation of waste, "but neither the shredders, nor of course the biomass plant have been implemented."
Likewise, from Podemos they criticize that both these proposals and all the others transferred to the mayor, "do not represent even a tenth of what the new IBI reduction costs now and it could have prevented what Xàbia residents are suffering now, Jesús Poor and Cat ". Feiner has noted that "three years have been wasted to improve people's quality of life."
