Next April, the exhibition hall of the Diputación de Alicante will host the exhibition by the painter xabiero Tomás Sivera. A total of 24 large-scale works (150x180) will form the exhibition entitled Relocated. "It will be named after Relocated, because the theme of the works I am painting has to do with the ways in which refugees have to go from one place to another: jump fences, by sea, etc. ", said Sivera.

The artist xabiero has been very happy with this news as it has been one of the selected among the many applications submitted by artists from the province. "I am very happy because I did not expect to be selected. Last year I presented myself and there was no luck, and the truth is that when they called me it was a surprise"says the local painter.

For this exhibition, in which a catalog will be prepared, Tomás has presented a total of 24 works of the 30 that he has painted with the last technique in which he has been working for two years, Fumage. A technique in which human figures are painted with the smoke of a candle, and in which Sivera uses lacquers and phosphorite colors. Undoubtedly, an expensive job but that is paying off. And is that Sivera, since he started with this art has won several awards: the Benissa Painting Prize, the second prize of the Pego contest, the selection in Valencia and now the selection to exhibit at the Provincial Palace of Alicante.

But luck continues to accompany him as the works can also be seen in Xàbia. Specifically, it will be in the month of August at Casa del Cable. The images shown in this information are only fragments of the complete work.
