Pedro José López and Lucía Martín conquer the Benitatxell Olympic Cycling Timetable
The Puig de la Llorença was conquered, this past Saturday, June 26, by 200 professional cyclists in the celebration of the Benitatxell Olimp Ciclista Cronoescalada, second stage of the Volta La Marina, Safor i Costera 2021.
With a time of 12 minutes and 8 seconds, Pedro José López (Your Bike ULB Sport) got up with the Cronoescalada trophy. The winner of the female category was Lucia Martín (International Cycling Academy), with a time of 17 minutes and 47 seconds.
Present at the awards ceremony were the mayor of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Miguel Ángel García, and the president of the Benitatxell Multiesports Club, Juan Zaragozí. In addition, despite the fact that they did not compete officially, the time trial was attended by five triathletes from the Multiesports Club.
After knowing the classification of the three stages in Almoines, Benitatxell and Barxeta, Pedro José López and Carolina Juárez have been the absolute winners of the Volta.
