Municipal Pact for Mobility: Xàbia will work to improve sustainable mobility, public transport and security

Xàbia held, on Monday morning, the ordinary plenary session corresponding to the month of June in person, after four months, carried out through telematic channels.

In this plenary session, all the political forces have unanimously approved the items on the agenda, among which the Municipal Pact for Mobility stood out. This point focuses on the final ordering for traffic in the First Montañar that includes a coastal promenade and evaluating its condition on Augusta Avenue and the Plá road.

Unanimity in the Pact for Mobility

Specifically, this pact includes nine measures that promote sustainable mobility and are in line with improving road safety, sustainable individual mobility or the promotion of a regional association of public transport.

At the moment, some proposals improvement have already been start-ups such as: pedestrianization in the surroundings of the Municipal Market, spaces for pedestrians in the entrances to the Paseo del Tenista David Ferrer, on the Arenal beach and the limitation of traffic to a single direction in the First Mountain.
