Tomás Sivera's 'Border Wall' wins the € 3000 prize from the 'Vila de Pego Painting Contest'

The painter from Xàbia, Tomás Sivera, has won the prize of 3.000 euros from XLIII Vila de Pego Contemporary Painting Contest with the work Border Wall. Sivera picked up the award last 7 June, at the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the selected works and the awarded.

The one of Xàbia has obtained this prize, after which in the last edition it will remain with the accésit. Now, the winning work of Tomás becomes the property of Pego City Council, and will be part of the awarded works in the more than 40 Editions of the Comxicotetion and that are in the Municipal Museum of Pego.

In the edition of this 2019, the works with Honorable Mention were: "Black boat" by Daniel García Moragues and "Jedem das seine" by Miguel Borrego Talavera.

The exhibition of the selected works will be open to the public until the 28 of June of 2019, in the Exhibition Center Art Museum, c / Hospital, 2 of Pego.
