Xàbia merchants have a new information channel through Telegram
The Department of Economic Development of the Xàbia City Council has opened a new dissemination channel on the Telegram messaging platform especially aimed at merchants and small entrepreneurs in order to send them all the information that may be of interest to them.
As explained by the responsible councilor, Marta Bañuls, those who subscribe to this channel will receive notifications of events or activities to stimulate the City Council (fairs, markets, campaigns…) and the possibilities to participate; also of the different lines of aid that are being activated, both specific for COVID-19 and of another nature; the free informational offer that the council offers throughout the year to modernize the trade and even warnings about scams or scams that may be taking place in shops in the town or notices of scheduled power outages.
Bañuls explains that the intention is to increase communication between the City Council and businessmen, exploiting all the useful communication channels so that the information reaches the interested parties, regardless of whether they are part of the merchant associations and thinking that many of them - by having to attend a business- it is difficult for them to attend face-to-face meetings.
