Book: «Reina Victoria Hotel» by Rafael Andarias

This Thursday, 14 of March, the Library of Duanes de Xàbia has a special literary appointment with the presentation of the first novel of the neighbor of Xàbia, Rafael Andarias. The event is scheduled at 20 hours, open to the public and that will be attended by the author, the Councilor for Culture, Quico Moragues, the director of the Library, Mariana Lopez, and editor Esperanza Morais.

The play, Reina Victoria Hotel, published by the publisher Atlantis, is presented as a combination of suspense, action and love story framed in the last days of the Civil War. Set in the Madrid of 1936, it is carried out by a young archaeologist of republican convictions. Throughout history, the author makes a call to reflect on our tragic past whose shadow extends to the present.

Andarias combines his medical profession with writing, as well as being the alma mater of Living Chess of Xàbia and author of many of his librettos. Now with Reina Victoria Hotel premieres with his first novel.
