The sisters, Carmen and Irene Bolufer, Valencia Triathlon champions in pairs
The capital of the Turia was the headquarters of one of the most numerous triathlons held in the Valencian Community. There was the presence of athletes from the Marina Alta region, highlighting the triathletes of the Trillebeig Xàbia Club, Carmen and Irene Bolufer, who in the couples modality were the champions in the distance Sprint.
The total time of the xabieras arriving at the finish line was 1: 21.43. Both covered a first swimming segment of 750 meters, a cycling segment of 20 kilometers and a running segment of 5 kilometers.
In the sprint distance, the TriLlebeig Xàbia entered with more than 2 minutes on the second pair, the one formed by Miriam Roselló and María Jesús Marquina, of the Avant Moncada. The third place went to the duo formed by Blanca Bayarri and Andrea Navarro del Tripuçol, who used a time of 1: 25.39.
Highlight the fourth place of two other athletes of TriLlebeig Xàbia, Ana Bisquert and María del Mar Cholbi, who covered the entire route in a time of 1: 26.22, making a great test the four representatives of the xabiero club.
