The XIII Travessia de Natació de Xàbia opens registrations
The Department of Sports of Xàbia will open registrations for the XIII Travessia de Natació de Xàbia this coming Friday, May 26, through this website and can be done until June 29.
La Travessia a Nado is one of the tests that is directly organized by the Department of Sports with the aim of promoting sports that are fully respectful of the natural environment and the enjoyment of our sea.
The test will take place on the morning of Sunday, July 2 and there will be three distance modalities:
- La absolute category with a distance of 3.000 meters to cover, starting from the Arenal beach
- Middle distance with a route of 1.500 meters and departure from the First Montañar
- Short distance, of 500 meters, designed for young people or people who are starting to swim and that will run through the interior of La Grava.
The goal of the three modalities will be La Grava beach, but as usual, there will be a bus service to take swimmers from La Grava to the starting points of the two medium and long distance tests.
The Department of Sports has the collaboration of the Jávea Yacht Club, Club Esportiu Llebeig, Excursionist Center, Canoeing Club, Surf Club and Marina Nou Fontana, as well as the Red Cross and Local Police, so that the test runs with all the guarantees of security.
