The pool of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell is already sustainable

The Poble Nou de Benitatxell is already a reference in sustainability when reforming its hot water installations in its municipal swimming pool with state-of-the-art machinery, which translates into energy saving and ecology.

The replacement of the diesel boiler with a propane condensing gas reduces the CO2 emissions. The boiler, with an efficiency of 105%, will heat the water of the pool and the showers of the changing rooms.

This substitution has been made with the help of the Institut Valencià de Comxicotetividad Empresarial (Ivace) by subsidizing the 40% of the amount. The Ivace has awarded the Town Hall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell 8.787,60 €. The objective is the saving of energy consumption to reduce the cost of the session and the environmental impact.

In addition, more efficient machinery has been installed that will contribute to considerable energy savings. This new condensing boiler with an efficiency of 105%, will make the municipal pool stop emitting 87
tons of CO2 per year.
