The organization of 'Trixàbia 2018' closes registrations with more than 600 triathletes

The organization Trixàbia, II Memorial Edu Monfort has closed the inscriptions in the absence of three weeks for the celebration of the test.

Some registrations that opened at the beginning of June and that have been closed with a total of 250 participants in the modality Olympic and 401 in the modality sprint.

The test, which will host the Provincial Cup, will begin on the Arenal beach, with the first swimming segment. Subsequently, the participants will face a second cycling segment that presents important novelties.

Changes in the layout of the bicycle segment

It will happen almost entirely through the Avenida del Plà, the main connecting road of the urban centers of Xàbia, where the triathletes can enjoy two lanes in each direction with long straights that will make them reach speeds of vertigo, with enough space for that the security conditions are the best. It is a circuit to 3 turns in distance Sprint and from 6 in distance Olympic, with a connection zone between the box and the round trip circuit similar to that of previous years.

The third segment of the foot race is held in an incomparable setting by Passeig del Tenista David Ferrer and first Muntanyar, without losing sight of the beautiful Bay of Xàbia, which will make the suffering of the participants more bearable.

Extended enrollment in sprint mode

Given the great demand for numbers, the Llebeig Xàbia Athletics Club expanded its enrollment quota at the beginning of September. It opened to 50 more places, which were sold out in just 24 hours. This shows that this test is among the favorites of Valencian triathletes and therefore the participation is very high.
