Jávea library has prepared many activities to celebrate International Book Day

Xàbia Municipal Library has prepared activities for the whole week with the International Book Day will be commemorated.

These begin today with the first of three children's workshops (for children from 6 to 8 years) free of charge that are planned for the afternoons; The one of today is of marionettes and the inscription is already complete, while it is still possible to sign up for those of illustration (Tuesday) and storytelling (Wednesday). Those interested should go to the library counter.

Also aimed at younger are scheduled two tellers, one on Wednesday and one Duanes Library on Friday in the Historic Center, both at 17'30 hours and narrate the stories of Andersen.

Accompanying the approach to this great author, the library asked the second grade students of all schools to prepare drawings of your favorite Andersen story. Now, these illustrations will be exhibited on the ground floor of the Library from Wednesday to 17 hours.

And aimed at adults from the Education and Culture Department is scheduled each year as the opening of a point bookcrosing (to release books) that is since Thursday in the Municipal Mercad0.

That same day in the afternoon, in collaboration with the international area of ​​the library, a declamation of poems which this year is dedicated to haiku, a style of Japanese poetry will be offered. In this regard, the 19 hours cultural event will open the presentation of the book on Juan Antonio González haikus.
