Fogueres announces its intense party program for this 2022
Fogueres de Sant Joan They return to Xàbia and do it in style after the two-year break due to the pandemic. Three Quintas, a youth commission and a children's court with its queen and ladies will be the protagonists of the Fogueres 2022 festivities. Quintàs 2020, 2021 and 2022 will experience special and intense parties. And it is that, as they have broken down in the presentation of the festival book and its corresponding program, "this year Les Fogueres will be historic".
The fifths and fifths will enjoy, with enthusiasm, their expected year shared with other fifths, "but everyone will have their leading role", has indicated the mayor of festivals, Kika Mata, who has added that an internal protocol has been drawn up so that each act and parade is opened and closed by one of the quintàs.
From the Fogueres Festival Commission, its president, Rafa Marí, has detailed some of the novelties presented by the festival program this 2022. Marí has clarified that a lot of work has been done so that the entire town participates in these Fogueres de Sant Joan. "The festivities will have all their acts but there will be two days of floats, two days of offerings, three proclamations and a great proclamation of festivities", has indicated the president of the Comissió de Fogueres.
New features include a special Nit dels Focs. The little ones will have their particular 'Votà als Focs'. The act will be on the 23rd at 21:XNUMX p.m., after the parade of floats, in Jesús Nazareno and Virgen de la Soledad streets and two video mapping projections in the Convent square. On the other hand, Les Fogueres de Sant Joan 2022 will feature the traditional bullfighting events but with the novelty of an equestrian performance and the release of a fighting bull.

The nights will continue to be filled with parties and good atmosphere with the dinners of cabasset, mobile disco, orchestras and traditional music by the Colla Portitxol.
