The Poble Nou de Benitatxell promotes a comxicotetion to design the facade of the Library
The Poble Nou de Benitatxell wants to make the façade of its library beautiful, and for this it has organized a contest to design a mural that will fill its main entrance with color. The objective of this initiative, promoted by the Department of Culture and Urban Planning, is to make the Library more visible from the outside and improve its appearance as an educational and cultural center, while at the same time promoting street art by supporting the work of artists.
The winner of the contest will receive a cash prize of 1.000 euros. Interested artists or amateurs must submit a design that will later be judged by a jury. All persons over the age of 16 can participate individually or collectively. The theme will be related to the world of books and reading, and the pictorial technique will be freely chosen.
La solicitud de inscripción y la documentación requerida se deberá presentar hasta el 15 de septiembre por registro de entrada en el Ayuntamiento de El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, presencialmente o por sede electrónica. La inscripción es gratuita.
The date of execution of the works will be held between October 1 and 20, 2020, and the award ceremony and opening of the façade will be held on October 24, coinciding with the celebration of Library Day.
