The Xabia´s Bike - Fasterwear team takes the podium in three different events
On Saturday morning, the celebration of the IX edition of the Great Fund Alberto Contador with a route of 147 km and more than 2300 meters of unevenness. The route ran through emblematic places for the cycling world such as Coll de Rates, Sa Creueta, Tollos or Vall d´Ebo.
Ade Moll finished third overall after breaking the group in the ascent to the Coll de Rates, leaving two runners ahead and being the protagonist of the chase.
In the afternoon the I Benissa MTB March that closed the VIII Circuit BTT Comarques Centrals. Up to there, Àlex continued. I continued to sign a first position in the Master40 category, being also eleventh of the general. The Cycling Club of Benissa had prepared a route of 32km and + 900m of unevenness with a first ascent to Solana, with technical and fun paths.
On Sunday, the team was present at the VI March MTB Coves de Canelobre in Busot with the representation of Dani Cepa, Tomás Miralles and Dani Cepa Jr.
At nine o'clock they would take the exit to complete the route of 37 km and with more than 900 meters of unevenness full of fun paths and with an excellent organization. Thus, the three runners took the victory in their respective categories, being Tomás first Sub23 (sixth in the general) and Dani first Master40 (ninth in the general). Highlight the great career of Dani Cepa Jr that won in Junior, entering the finish line in twelfth position of the general.
Next weekend the team will take a break to face the last races of the season with more force.
