The Consell approves the transitory urban regulations of urgency of Xàbia
The transitory urban planning regulations of urgency (NUT) of Xàbia will come into force the day following their publication in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) and will remain in force until the approval of the General Structural Plan of the municipality.
In any case, the suspension will end four years after the publication of the agreement of the Consell, of March 5, 2021, by which the PGOU of Xàbia was partially suspended.
The text of the NUT and the corresponding plans will be available on the website of the Ministry of Public Works Territorial Policy.
The Xàbia City Council began in 2011 the work for the revision of the PGOU, which was renamed the General Structural Plan (PGE) and licenses and programming agreements were suspended in those areas of the PGE where there was no compatibility between the old and the new ordinance.
This expired on June 7, 2019, for which the city council requested the Generalitat to suspend planning, a measure provided for both in the LOTUP, as well as in the Consolidated Text of the Land Management Law; Urbanism and Landscape (TRLOTUP).
Thus, the Consell adopted the agreement to partially suspend the 1990 General Urban Development Plan of the municipality and to start the procedure for the approval of Transitory Urgency Regulations.
The General Directorate of Urbanism has processed the text with the preliminary version of the NTU sent by the Xàbia City Council, which was submitted to public information.
