The Jávea Cycling Club prepares for this Sunday the 'Bicycle Day'
The Jávea Cycling Club is preparing everything so that this Sunday 20 October day, citizens spend a most pleasant day practicing sports. In direct collaboration with the Department of Mobility, the Bicycle Day. An activity aimed at the whole family so that from the grandparents to the little ones they can go on the march that will pass through the most attractive areas of the municipality.
The departure will be at 10 hours from the track of the Graüll school and will cross the avenues Palmela, Els Furs, Primer Montañar, Arenal, Barclays roundabout (Avenida del Plá), Camí Cabanes, Camí Les Cansalades and Parque Pinosol.
When the delegation arrives at the Pinosol Park, a popular lunch will take place and there the organization will distribute ballots for the subsequent raffle in which there will be important gifts for all participants, including a bicycle.
Once the lunch is over, the road back to the roads will be undertaken and it is expected that the arrival will be at 13 hours at Graüll school itself. Throughout the journey, cyclists will be accompanied by a local police vehicle that will regulate traffic.
It is expected that as long as the weather allows this sporting and civic event is a complete success and that families enjoy a day outdoors practicing sports. From the Club they insist that the helmet is mandatory for all cyclists.
This recreational and sporting activity is celebrated within the European Mobility Week.
