The Xàbia City Council contributes more than 80.000 euros to the local sports clubs

The Xàbia City Council has renewed several collaboration agreements in the field of sports, thus contributing an important economic amount in favor of the clubs in support of the sporting activity.

The mayor, José Chulvi, and the Councilor for Sports, Alberto Tur, have signed agreements with the Montgó Sports Club contributing the amount of 15.000 euros, with the Club d'Escacs Xàbia, which receives the amount of 18.500 euros, with the Xàbia Excursionist Center, supporting its sports initiatives with 7.000 euros and the Joventut Xàbia Basket Club, with 42.000 euros.

The municipal contributions are in support of the dissemination of sports among young people and the organization of sports comxicotetions in the municipality.
