David Ferrer and Feliciano López pilot with the little ones in Xàbia
On the occasion of the presentation of Feliciano López as director of the Mutua Madrid Open Sub-16 and coinciding with the dispute, this weekend (October 21, 22 and 23), of one of these tests at the Jávea Tennis Club, a part of the Arenal beach has been converted into a tennis court.
Accompanied by the tennis player from Xàbia, David Ferrer, dozens of boys and girls have come to the event to drive with the great tennis players.
In the first place, the former professional tennis players have shared passes and have commented on the great achievements each of them has achieved. Subsequently, the smallest have taken center stage. In pairs and on mini tennis courts installed for the occasion on the seafront, the youngest and possible future tennis players have had the opportunity to make passes with David Ferrer and Feliciano López.
The event was attended by students from different schools in the area, students from the Ferrer Tennis Academy and students from the municipal paddle tennis schools, in addition to the mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, the councilor for sports, Alberto Tur and dozens of neighbors and visitors .
