Corpus Christi celebration in Xàbia

In celebration of Corpus Christi Day in Xàbia follows the tradition of seeing through the streets of the historic center typical dances offered by the Grup de Danses Portixol. This group still maintains the typical Valencian values ​​through dance on this date as indicated.

The training was accompanied by a group of schoolchildren belonging to the Vicente Tena, Trenc d'Alba and Graüll schools who were the protagonists of some of the typical dances of this celebration. You could see dances like the one of Swedish veins, and dances like that of the Moma, the little blacks, the Dwarves, the shepherds, the little horses and the Turks and Turks. People also enjoyed watching the dances of "paloteig", of the tambourines, the gypsies and that of the polonaise.

In addition, as tradition marks, the girls and boys who have taken communion during this year participated in the procession.
