Benitatxell values ​​its gastronomy by joining the GastroTurística Network of the Community

The City Council of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has joined the GastroTourism Network of the Valencian Community and its brand L'Exquisit Mediterrani. The Councilor for Tourism, Victor Bisquert, has clarified that this membership of the Network adds value to local gastronomy, highlighting the extraordinary quality of our territory and way of life. El Poble Nou de Benitatxell can become one of the pillars of this project given that its philosophy of sustainable and ecological cultivation is linked to the principles of the network.

The mayor has indicated that the municipality has the MitjafavaFest, "a benchmark in the region in traditional agriculture, as well as with the Biomoscatell project with its Sunset routes between vineyards and Taste the muscatel with the 5 senses. We will also carry out interesting projects such as the Moscatell Festival or the International Gastronomic Fair".

For his part, the mayor of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Miguel Ángel García, has shown all his support for projects that “They are advancing in a collaborative, creative and local economy model that concentrates a quality gastronomic offer related to local resources. The Biomoscatell project will go hand in hand in this beautiful dream of preserving the legacy of our grandparents in the bancalet, in the sea and in the kitchen and making the region a territory of Mediterranean, traditional and innovative food ”.

The GastroTurística Network of the Valencian Community

The GastroTurística Network of the Valencian Community has the mission of connecting initiatives and creating nodes in the territory to preserve and develop its own gastronomy with parameters of authenticity, innovation and sustainability as a first-class tourist resource linked to the landscape, culture and economy; as well as strengthen its Mediterranean identity attributes and enhance the image of product excellence through the L'Exquisit Mediterrani brand.

From this moment, the City Council of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell will collaborate with Turisme Comunitat Valenciana within the framework of the GastroTurística Network of the Valencian Community participating in its objectives and strategies, to contribute to the cohesion of the gastronomic actions that are carried out to throughout the territory of the Community and in all areas of action, as well as strengthen the dissemination of the brand of excellence L'Exquisit
Mediterrani enhancing its image and value attributes.
