Benitatxell closes the festivities of San Antonio in the region with the traditional blessing of animals

The Poble Nou de Benitaxell celebrated on Sunday, 4 in February, the festival of San Blas with its traditional chocolate and bamba by the Music Band. It was an intense day since the municipality also closed the celebration of San Antonio Abad in the region of the Marina Alta, an act that had a large number of citizen participation.

La Penya de Cavallistes i Carreters, organizers of the event, in collaboration with the Department of Popular Festivals, by Maite Roldán, offered a popular lunch to all those attending the 9: 30 hours on La Pau street, where chocolate and near 400 bambas, they had a great success. Then, at the 12 hours, the pet parade began. The Colla the Llebetjà entertained the pasacalle with his music. The party ended in the Market Square with the blessing of the animals that counted the presence of the mayor, Miguel Ángel García, and the councilor of Fiestas.
