Blessing of animals in Benitatxell

The celebration of the blessing of animals in honor of San Antoni that took place in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell was a great success. Many were the neighbors and residents who participated taking animals of different species and sizes.

Despite strong winds and reigning fried pobleros they came to take their pets that they might receive the blessing that will leave protected them throughout the year.

The caballistas and carters arrived from several municipalities throughout the region gave a lot of eye candy to act. Like equestrian riders who fell in perfect harmony from the Puig de la Llorença to attend this blessing.

The parish priest, Guillermo Gilabert was in charge of blessing all the pets that attended an event that has a great tradition among the residents of the municipality.
