I have seen two Gota Fria in Xabia. One where many boats were flushed from their moorings into the sea. I watched from the beach as most capsized and sunk. In other areas, bridges were broken down and many places flooded. This Gota Fria, however, is by far the worst. My heart goes out to all of the people in the region. The pictures we see here in the UK look like war zones, Valencia most especially. My friends there have been very lucky but most of the area around them has been devastated. As the bad weather may return this weekend, I hope everyone will ensure they are safe. My thoughts are with you all.
