There should be a limit to the number of people allowed in to this UNESCO rated beach. Each year it’s more and more crowded. Before long it will lose its UNESCO rating and then this precious site will be ruined. I live near Granadella and every year visiting tourist take over our neighborhood and have no respect for the people who live hear. Tourist regularly throw out their garbage along our curbs and green spaces, act rudely to locals and just have no respect whatsoever for our area. What is wrong with limiting access and monitoring areas close to the beach? Jávea only cares about bringing more and more people here, building more and more apartments and not providing any parking space for visitors and locals alike. Javeas greed will be the cause of its demise. I give it a year or maybe two and Jávea will just be another Benedorm. Once that happens there will be no turning back. It’s sad.
