The councilman of Youth, Ximo Segarra, he values the 13 edition of the Nadal Jove i Esportiu, with an average of 500 young daily. For three years, this activity has been carried out jointly with the Department of Sports, combining sports and leisure with the workshops they do.
Stresses Segarra that there have been attractions that have changed the three days, "Our intention is to continue improving so that the offer varies", although it recognizes that space conditions. Therefore, this year has been split in two to differentiate sports and leisure activities. Thus, the inflatables that have mounted this year for the little ones occupied more space but also the sport had a lot of occupation.
From the councils, they give priority to sports clubs that lend themselves to collaborate selflessly giving them more prominence. In this edition, for example, the climbing wall mounted by the Excursionist Center was in the leisure area since they have to have a space in conditions for security reasons.
Ximo Segarra emphasizes that healthy leisure and sports are closely linked, "is to offer a healthy leisure activity for the smallest people, from the year they had their space to the age of 17". The councilor says that older people are not going to look for these activities and seek another type of leisure.
