The study of Valencian architecture, Raízde3 SL, has been the company chosen by the Javea Town Hall for the drafting of the basic project and execution of the construction of the new indoor municipal pool. The award was held on Monday, 18 February, in government meeting.
The proposal of the study of Valencian architecture was the one that better score obtained of the five presented. The budget of the writing amounts to 80.555,75 euros, the lowest of the projects received and also reduces the deadline in 15 days.
Once the contract is signed, the study will have between one and two months to present each of the documents (it will also be responsible for the project for environmental authorization) so that the municipal technical services will review and approve them to make everything ready and that the Generalitat may tender the work, for which it already has a budgetary reserve.
Project features
The indoor pool is one of the historical demands of the municipality. After remaining blocked for more than a decade, at the end of 2017 and at the request of the mayor, José Chulvi, the current autonomic government finally recognized that its predecessors left this investment pending and opened an economic budget for the work, which will be financed entirely with regional funds.
The swimming pool is projected on a contiguous plot adjacent to the sports pavilion (between the streets M.Bordes Valls, Joan Fuster and VA Estellés), and follows a program of needs and design criteria based on modernity, sustainability, versatility, functionality , easy to maintain and accessible.
The complex is set up with two pool glasses and an activity room aimed at gymnastics and physical maintenance. The main pool (of 25 meters long by 16'7 of width) will be of polyvalent character and the secondary one (of 16'70 by 10 meters) dedicated to teaching complementary activities or of familiarization to the swimming, as much for children as for adults, and especially for rehabilitative swimming. It is estimated that the project will be around the 3 million euros.
