In the last plenary session, the Popular Party of Xàbia presented the motion on the regeneration and opening of the Tangó and Ambolo beaches. A proposal with which the popular ones intend to recover two of the most emblematic areas of the xabiero coastline.
After an intense debate, the motion was successful with the vote in favor of all the councilors, although with some change. On the part of Compromís, its spokesperson, Juan Cardona, agreed with the popular proposal and aimed to add "not only these coves but also regenerate the Ministre Creek, French cove and Sardinera ".
For his part, from the socialist ranks, the spokesman and mayor, José Chulvi, despite stating at first that the motion lacked, from his point of view, "de rigor", finally supported it, with the nuance of adding "that the corresponding studies be done".
And it is that, in the case of Cala de AmboloAccording to the Councilor for Urbanism, the existing report "It does not correspond to the beach, so it would be necessary to see concrete measures to solve the problem of landslides", which is why the cove is currently closed.
