Xàbia will once again have a free children's school this summer

03 2023 April - 11: 34

El Javea Town Hall will once again offer a free “Escola d'estiu”. As explained by the Councilor for Youth, Education and Equality, Montse Villaverde, this service is designed to facilitate family and work reconciliation during school holidays, and at the same time, that minors have an educational leisure option so that they can enjoy the summer.

The format will be similar to last summer: it will take place in July and August and is aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 14 organized into two blocks: one from 3 years old -who are already enrolled in infant school- and up to 10 years and another workshop for young people between 10 and 14 years old, and in the morning from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m.

Requests for free places may be made after the Easter and Saint Vincent holidays through the registry (OAC) or the electronic headquarters, the registration period will be published soon. They may enroll for a single month or both in the case of the youngest or fortnightly, the older ones.

The concession of the places will be linked to the scale of the documentation provided, based on the criteria to be assessed (among them if both parents work, if they are single-parent families, large families, etc...) and does not depend on the order of registration.

Once all the applications have been evaluated, the admission will be communicated personally to those admitted by telephone.

For more information, those interested can contact the Youth Department at the House of Culture by phone (EXTENSION 3401) or write to email.
