The Fogueres Xàbia commission, in collaboration with the Department of Fiestas, organizes next Saturday, February 22, the celebration of Carnival in the town. As usual there will be two celebrations, one in the afternoon
specially designed for children and another one already at night focused on adults.
However, the evening party every year is lived more in family and there are many adults who come already in disguise to enjoy it with the smallest of the house. That is why the organization has thought of, in addition to the mini-car, to continue with an afternoon with music, bar service and food until the adult parade time.
Thus, the party will begin at 17 pm with the children's parade, which will leave from Buenaire Street, will go through the north and south round and will end in the Plaza Constitución. There the party will continue with the music and animation show 'What a festa'. Then DJ Pepa Desnivell will take over, who takes the reins in the afternoon schedule.
Already at 23:30 hours the adult parade will begin, with the same itinerary as the children's one, and in which there will also be prizes for the best individual, couple and group costumes. Registration for this contest will be held at the bar on the same day of the parade until 23 pm.
The evening will end a discomóvil end of party with Toni Pub, DJ Gualda and Pablo Alemany. The carnivals also have the collaboration of the Quintà of 2020 'Tot per l'aire'.
