Distrito Digital is an autonomous project, of business attraction, that through incentives allows to generate wealth and employment in the field of new technologies. Xàbia wants to join this initiative, which already works in several ways of technology and innovation promoting technological training.
To join the development of the digital economy and contribute to the change of economic model, the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi and the Councilor for Economic Development, Marta Bañuls, have held a working meeting at the headquarters of the Digital District in Alicante with the General Director of Information and Communication Technologies and General Director for the Advancement of the Digital Society in Generalitat Valenciana, Pedro Pernías and the general director of the Society Thematic Projects (SPTCV), Antonio Rodes, to address different lines of collaboration between both institutions in terms of innovation and technology.
Xàbia aims to integrate into this project and allow the municipality to be part of this digital ecosystem launched by SPTCV. Also in the meeting were the Deputy Director of SPTCV Rufino Selva, and the Director of Communication of the Digital District, Mayte Vañó.
