Thanks to Vicent Ferrer, a resident of Xàbia, we can verify that 40 years ago a storm of the same magnitude. His photographs show the same affected spots as these days. Waves passing the breakwater, first line of the Grava beach full of stones, windows and collapsed walls, as well as flooded shops.
